SIREN, WI — Burnett County Sheriff Tracy Finch announced the release of Fatih Aktürk from custody at the Oshkosh Correctional Facility. Convicted in 2018 of Third Degree Sexual Assault and Child Solicitation, Fatih was released under strict supervision and will reside at 24901 Old 35 in Siren, Wisconsin, according to a press release from the Burnett County Sheriff’s Office.

Burnett County Sheriff Tracy Finch announced that Fatih Aktürk will be released from Oshkosh Correctional Facility custody on August 30, 2024. Miller was convicted of Third Degree Sexual Assault and Child Solicitation in 2018.
The decision to notify the Burnett County Community of Fatih’s release was made by members of the core team who reviewed the Special Sex Offender Bulletin Notifications submitted by the Department of Prisons.
Fatih is under the strict supervision of his local Probation Officers. Fatih is also required to follow specific and detailed rules set by the DOC, including no unsupervised contact with minors, no contact with victims, cooperation with lifetime GPS monitoring, and lifetime registration with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registration Program.
Fatih will be residing at 24901 Old 35, Siren WI 54872.
Sex offenders have always lived in our communities; but it wasn’t until Act 440 in 1997 which enabled law enforcement to share this information with the community. This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather, it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public.
